Just last week we broke the news that Salman Khan was playing a cameo in Welcome To New York. Finally, we have the special song where Salman makes an appearance in the movie. Check out the song right here:
The song, titled Nain Phisal Gaye brings back the Chulbul Pandey from Dabangg with his Rajjo (Sonakshi Sinha). Salman is seen repeating some of the steps from the Dabangg songs, and that itself will make you restless for the third instalment of the Dabangg franchise.
Coming back to Nain Phisal Gaye, the song has been composed by Sajid-Wajid and penned by Kaunsar Munir.
Nain Phisal Gaye is a beautiful number that sets the tone for Valentine's Day.
The song was shot entirely in New York. When the producers went to Salman, the magnanimous star that he is, he agreed to do the song even without a batter of an eyelid.
Talking about the same, Sonakshi said, “It was really exciting to be re-uniting with Salman for our third film together after Dabangg and Dabangg 2. We shot the song entirely in New York. It was nostalgic in many ways - the romantic feel, the melodious song, etc and it has been filmed beautifully.”
On the same lines, Welcome To New York director Chakri Toleti said, "It was an absolute delight to shoot this song. The two of them have such great on screen chemistry and it was a matter of hours and the song was recorded. The two together set the screen on fire."
Coming to talk of the film, Welcome To New York is a hilarious comedy of two youngsters who land in New York and go through a series of hilarious episodes. Boasting of a massive ensemble cast with the likes of Karan Johar in a double role, Diljit Dosanjh, Sonakshi, Riteish Deshmukh, Boman Irani and Lara Dutta, the film releases worldwide on 23 February.
